Enterprises certified by DS Certificering receive a certificate documenting to the outside world that they have implemented a management system which is internationally recognised and respected.
The enterprise also acquires the right to use DS Certificering's logo for commercial purposes. The logo may be used for marketing, for instance on stationery or in brochures. In this way the enterprise signals that it has introduced and implemented, for instance, a quality management and/or an environmental management system.
DS Certificering's logo is known in the market and is associated with confidence, safety and guarantee. It is therefore in the interests of the holder of a certificate issued by DS Certificering to use the logo for any relevant purpose.
Who may use DS Certificering's logo?
All enterprises holding a system certificate issued by DS Certificering are entitled to use DS Certificering's logo. However, the enterprise must always make sure that it is used properly.
In the event that DS Certificering's logo is used by an enterprise not entitled to use it, or is used in a way that can be misunderstood or is outright misleading, DS Certificering will obviously intervene, if necessary by taking legal action.
How may the logos be used?
DS Certification's logo may be used, accompanied by a descriptive text, by enterprises certified by DS Certification. The logo may be used in combination with IQNet's logo.
The logo must always be used in a way that does not lead to a misunderstanding of what the logo stands for in the specific context. For instance, it must not be mistakable for product certification. The logo must always be used in combination with a text stating which type of certification and which standard(s) are concerned.
The enterprise must make sure that the logo is used with the correct references to standards and accreditations encompassed by the certificate in question.
IQNet's logo may be used by all enterprises certified by DS Certificering.
When using logos, enterprises must also make sure that the extent of the certification cannot be misunderstood. For instance, the logo must never be used on stationery or in brochures, etc., where mention is made of products, services, fields of activity, processes, parts of businesses, or addresses that are not covered by the certification, unless it appears unambiguously which elements are not covered by the certification.

Which logo to choose?
The logos are available for downloading in several combinations.
The logos are available in a Danish and English version. Client enterprises are free to use either version or both.
As a minimum, the logo must always consist of DS Certificering's logo and a descriptive text, indicating which type of management system is concerned and which standard has been used as basis for the certification. It is a precondition that a logo is always used in combination with a text element corresponding to the certification in question.

Which file types to choose?
All logo combinations can be downloaded. They are available in two file formats:
TIFF files
EPS files
Which file type to use depends on the purpose and the programs you have at your disposal. Please, therefore, make sure before you download that the file type in question is supported by the programs at your disposal.
TIFF files (Tagged Image File Format) can be used in many word processing programs, such as Microsoft Word. The logos can be enlarged and reduced. However, the graphic resolution may be adversely affected, particularly in the case of enlargement.
EPS files (Encapsulated PostScript). If your program and printer support this format, this file type is to be preferred as these files are scalable. This means that accuracy and resolution will be maintained irrespective of proportions.
